2003 - Prior to graduating from college at the University of Wisconsin Stout - Our founder David Wachtendonk purchased the domain and intellectual property for the domain www.host-a-murder.com
2004 - By popular demand from our customers we expanded from private dinner parties into Teen Murder Mystery Parties and Corporate Events.
2005 - Our company relocated to Chicago, IL. We expanded our network and became a nationwide events company with the creation of our actor network. With that in place we were able to begin offering on-site talent across the US.
2006 - Our business transformed... for the first time in our history we had more revenue from corporate events than private parties.
2007 - We moved into our first office!
2008 - Added our first intern & employee.
2009 - We provided the talent for HAAN at the International Home and Housewares Trade Show.
2010 - We did our first international event in the Bahamas. Added Director of Events and Marketing - Maggie Mitchell. Our founder was featured in Crains - Entrepreneurs in Action. We had a successful Groupon selling more than 3300 tickets to our first murder mystery dinner theater. Expanded our relationship with core vendors like House of Blues, Intercontinental Hotels Group, and Fogo De Chao
2011 - We launched our newly designed website.
Sept 2012 - We added the Feast Wars Scenario
